I am the senior member of the WRSB. That's age, not band seniority. The group came together as a spin-off from campground jamming at the Winfield Festival. This was about seven years ago. Early on , we became a household name on the rest-home circuit. We discovered that churches were a good venue because they are required to forgive all shortcomings. Rest homes are good because the audience can't escape easily.

My wife of 50 years is Claire, who works our sound system with Debbie Norton. We have learned to be nice to both of them because, if one becomes crabby to them, there is serious feedback and something goes mysteriously wrong with the mic during your solo. Together we (Claire, not Debbie) have 2 sons and 4 grandsons. (one of which arrived in June of '04' ).

I play rhythm guitar and know most of the songs. The Bm chord requires serious forethought and you can't be thinking of where you're going to eat after the gig. I have an honest job selling Real Estate at Albright's in Winfield (wanna buy a house?)

Anyone who tries to tell you that this band doesn't have any "quirks" would be wrong, but in the grand scheme of things, I wouldn't trade them for any group in the world.
